Dresden Senior Academy: FRET - Straight Edge on the Nano Scale
B CUBE scientist Christiane Jungnickel introduces participants of the Dresden Senior Academy to the secrets of FRET.
All organisms are made up of thousands of tiny molecules. Unfortunately, measurement of interactions and distances between those biological molecules may not be effected by means of microscopic methods due to their inaccuracte and distructive nature. FRET - a straight edge measuring with fluorophores perfectly solves this problem! Its detailed characteristics and mode of operation will be revealed in the frame of the seminar.
- 3 April 2013, 10 - 11:30 a.m.
- Christiane Jungnickel (B CUBE)
- DFG Center for Regenerative Therapies Dresden
- Fetscherstraße 105, 01307 Dresden
- Seminar room 1, 2nd floor
